Dr. Leonel Toledo (PhD) is a Senior Researcher at i2Cat Foundation. He received his Ph.D from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (México) in 2014 where he worked as a full-time professor and researcher. In that period, his research was oriented to computer graphics, mainly crowd simulation and autonomous agents in complex 3d environments. From 2017 to 2020 he worked at Barcelona Supercomputing center (BSC-CNS) where he devoted his time to research heterogeneous architectures and hardware acceleration using GPUs for enhancing programming models and coding productivity.
