Mr. Sergi Fernández (MSc) is a computer scientist & engineer. His research is centered on interactive systems and new media formats (VR, AR, Second Screen Apps, Immersive Video, etc.) as well as network based media processing systems. Through his career he has played a leading role in the definition, design and implementation of interactive multimedia systems. He has an outstanding track record in terms of technical research and innovation management, serving as Project Coordinator, Principal Investigator and Research Group Director in a public research center. Since July 2025 he is VOLUM’s CEO.
