Theofilos Tsoris is a senior Software Engineer with decades of software building experience in various fields like computational linguistics, cyber-security, financing, civil engineering, aerospace industry and computer vision research. He acquired his B.Sc. and M.Eng. as a computer and software engineer from the University of Patras Greece in 1997. His last position was in the European Space Agency working in the European planetary missions, but after a turn in his career, he discovered that research in Computer Vision and Deep Learning is his new passion. He currently works at the Visual Computing Lab of CERTH as a research associate and he is the task leader of Task 2.2 “Volumetric Representations” in PRESENCE.
